A studio painting created from a series of plein air oil and watercolour sketches of the footbridge over Skill beck at Dodd Wood in Cumbria.
Dodd Wood offers a network of walking trails that will take you deep into the woodland to Dodd summit, whilst taking in the views of Bassenthwaite and Derwent Water the northern Lake District. If you keep an eagle eye out, you may see the odd red squirrel or you could stop at the specially designed viewpoints to catch the Bassenthwaite Ospreys.
