Anne Blankson-Hemans B.A (Hons) Fine Art, SWA
Anne studied Fine Art in her native Ghana and came to live in the UK in 1984,
A multi-award winning artist, she has had her works exhibited with a number of art societies including the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and the Society of of Women Artists (SWA) at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. She is a member of the SWA and plays an active role on their Council.
Anne has also been selected to take part in two BBC TV programmes; 'Show Me the Monet' (BBC2, 2012) and 'The Big Painting Challenge (BBC1, 2015).
In addition, her works have been featured in a number of publications including 'The Artist', (July 2015), and the glossy French publication 'Pratique des Arts', (June 2017).
Primarily a studio painter, Anne can occasionally be seen painting and sketching 'en plein air' and is a member of several local and national painting and sketching groups.
Her works are held in collections in the UK, the USA, Japan, China and Australia
